Steve McAbee joined Lang Financial Group in 1995 and became President in 1998. Steve has more than 30 years of management experience, including 23 in the financial services/insurance industry. He manages the day-to-day operations of the Cincinnati, Columbus and Akron offices and is responsible for the firm’s strategic growth plans.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Akron. Steve also sponsors and participates in many charitable and community service projects through his membership in Rotary International. Steve has a passion for business operations and the employees that make them successful. In his 30 years of management experience, Steve has consulted with thousands of company leaders and their employees.
As President of Lang Financial Group, Inc., Steve leads a dedicated and experienced group of professional specialists that consult with individuals and businesses owners of all sizes on employee benefits, qualified plans, HR/ benefits technology platforms, private and public exchanges, personal protection needs and business succession planning.
Born in Baltimore, Md., Steve grew up in Akron, Ohio, where he attended The University of Akron, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Steve is a member of many professional and civic organizations and enjoys working with and mentoring young professionals trying to develop their talents.
